The stench of gore churning in the water still clouds my senses.
I do not prefer it to the stench of leather, sweat, and blood on battles fought on land.
... Both are quite terrible. At least Arx smells of flowers in summer.

I've returned to Arx.
Putting down four simple words take more energy than I think they should. Even this many years past the Tragedy my heart yearns to return me to Sanctum and cries out anytime I spend too long abroad. But duty has tamed a fiery heart before and my wounds will be no different.

Relationship Note on Audgrim
In search of armorers to outfit me for battle. I recently happened upon Goodman Audgrim's shop. I'm very glad I did. His wares are excellent, and his skill at his craft is considerable. I sent him some exotic deer leather that's notorious for being quite difficult to work with, and within no time at all he turned it into a pair of finely-worked leggings. I'm pleased that I've ticked another item off my list, thanks to his willingness to work at such short notice.
