Anabele is worried about those in the lowers who are suffering through the whirlpool the most. Hopefully my actions on the Road, securing the boarders and improving the trade routes in Tristfell will help smooth things over. Cahal was hepful, having us out hunting in the Gray Forests so that we may catch a few hares for the stores. Blackram is doing what they can as well, something about directing the flow of their graineries. Lord Cahal has far more smarts than myself but I understood the basics of what he was refering to. I acted as beater, scaring up and driving the Hare's in the field, while Ana and Cahal used a Hawk and Dog to fetch the scared up game. Cahal's Dog hickory was very spot on, but his hawk Kiko was slightly tempermental. I don't think she was used to being handled by Ana. I promised her we'd try again soon. She'll get the hang of it.

I ran into a bit of oddness at the Tea Shop the oher day. A Lady Ashford was struck with some sort of shock. Ad if she'd seen a ghost. I'm not sure what it was but I do hope she feels better.

It looks like I made it back to Arx just before this strange whirlpool showed up. Strange, I hope it ends soon and I hope I had more knowledge to help stop it. Either way, it's put a strain on the House and I must figure a way to help protect and strengthen our supply lines. I intend to take some of our forces within the next few weeks and patrol the roads in Tristfell and into the woods north of Lyon's Redoubt. Clean up the paths and make the merchants feel a bit safer about moving their goods. Perhaps my wife to be, Lady Anabelle, can help me with this task. It would be preferable to diswade any tribes who have yet to bend the knee from attacking our currently taxed trade routes than to have it out with tem in battle but the men are well trained/numbered/ and prepared for such.

It has been four years since I left Arx to return to Lyon's Redoubt and the Fernweh in order to raise my Nephews after my Brother died in a hunting accident. It took that long to teach them to be strong leaders for our people and set the youngest on his path towards serving the Marquessa in her armed forces. Now I have returned and so much has changed. I am excited to return to my post at the Marquessa's side and bring Glory and Honor to the Fernweh and Lyonesse.

We had to call off our engagment as you wanded to set sail on the sea and I had to return to Lyon's Redoubt. When I returned to Arx four years later I was told you married, had a child, and then retired to the Oathlands. I hear you're happy and that's all that matters.

Alaries loft is cozy and small though she told me she got a new piece of property. Perhaps it'll be a good place to raise children when that time comes. I will only be granted land after my time as First Knight has come to an end.

Went to see Alarie at the Darkwater Reach. There was something off with the servents. Some of the turned into souless people and started to aid a Bringer attack up the cliffs. We had to fight them off. Luckily they wre outnumbered and attacked at a time where many of Arx's best skilled warriors were gathered. Alarie even killed one. I think it was her first, she didn't feel so good afterwards. I made sure she got cleaned up and some rest before returning to the Chateau

THe army is here and I'm on my way. Alarie is safe in the THrax Ward. She sent me her lucky coin via messenger and hopefully it'll help. I fight for Lyonesse, I fight for my love. I will return to bring glory to this house.

Alarie and I have decided to marry especially before she runs off on any adventure. After the seige we will get married. I hope the Lyonesse don't mind. I will have to talk to Demura and Anabelle.

The battle was long and harb but the Marquessa's plan worked. She even earned herself some title amongst the others. We killed many, reducing their number and helping the other lines escape back to the city. There will be a seige I fear still...

I decided to see Alarie in my down time. She thought I had left already. We talked about our Fealties and how Thrax was very different from Valardin. Always an interesting conversation over tea. When I return she wishes to make me some proper city cloths. I can not say no. I hope I can repay her by accompanying her to a Tavern soon enough.

It's been a long week of waiting but we will be riding out soon to do what we came here to do. Win back glory for our house in a darring attempt to thwart some of the forces of the approaching army. Mugetsu, and myself, will be tested in this battle.

Lady Abigail's sister stopped by but did not stay. She is to be married aparently. The Marquessa wasn't happy about it and Abigail wasn't to be invited to the wedding. Well, The Marquessa put a stop to that real quick by outright canceling any marriage plans Lady Roseline had. She was being rather snooty and acting superior. Serves her right.

The Seamstress who made my cloak, Alarie. We've been seeing each other. She is so wonderful and thoughtful. I love speaking with her and spending time with her. I hope to have many more conversations over tea and dinner soon.

Lady Anabelle showed me this painting. There was some written words on the back in my Clan's native tongue which is common amungst most Shav tribes in the Oathlands. I was able to transcribe it but I never got any more information on what or where she had gotten the painting. I'll have to remember to pick up that conversation again because it's really bugging me.
