So yesterday I had this 'fateful' encounter with a lady named Kaia and one other person I don't want to remember at the Stacks. Fateful? Why? What is the difference with an ordinary encounter you say? Well let me explain it to you, my dear readers, an ordinary encounter usually consists of 'Hello', 'What is your name?', 'Oh my, you are new?', 'How are you doing in Arx?', 'Ok, bye' then it is over already. So what is special about yesterday? It is a bit different because this lady is so 'kind' to tell me an 'important' and 'secret' piece of information involving Giant Turkeys.

Giant Turkeys? Yes, exactly, Giant Turkeys. SO, this lady told me that some Redrain Prince was calling all the brave heroes in Arx to catch a legendary Giant Turkey. So, apparently, this Giant Turkey is so fast that we cannot see it with naked eyes. It also threatens the safety of the residents and livestock. Of course, as a person who is interested in this kind of thing in the first place, I readily accepted her invitation. I was so excited that I never considered the words may be false in the first place. I know, I know, her lovely and beautiful appearance did cloud my judgment a bit. But it was so unbelievable that it looked believable to me(I have some experience with this, I tell you).

As soon as I got home, I prepared all various kinds of things to prepare for the hunt. This a mythical Giant Turkey, mind you, some half-assed equipment isn't going to work. So I opened my chest and brought my mysterious stick horse, the bane of immortals, and the magical gardenia barrette, my life-saving charm that can repel all evil. There is something missing though, thankfully, it is not rare unlike my mentioned items earlier. It's a net. Yes. A net. I mean, we cant catch something if we don't have a net, can we?

Long story short, I scoured through the market for the net. When the shopkeeper asks what I am going to do with a net, I hesitated. This was supposed to be a secret. But, I was a bit skeptical. Bloody hell, Giant Turkeys? Even I, who have read countless legends, never heard of them. So I quietly whispered the 'secret' to the shopkeeper and.... guess what? He bursted out laughing to my face. When he told me that there were no Giant Turkeys around and the prince was only holding an ordinary Turkey Shoot event, I was disappointed. Yes, only disappointed. There wasn't any large reaction from me. After that, I dropped the net on my arms and went home.

I am not really bothered by it really. In my line of job, it is expected to find many false pieces of information. From my adventures, I learned not to be excited early before I see it with my own eyes.

What about the event you ask? I didn't come. I am not interested in any ordinary social event. It is too troublesome. As for the lady? Hmm, I don't know. I will see how she will explain all of this to me next time.

First time in Arx after a while. Woohoo! I am excited to see my cousins who I haven't met in years! Finally, I will live in a proper city and not on the streets. Hehehe. I am glad that everyone in Arx continues the habit of being strange and unpredictable. The first people I met weren't all that nice, but hey, I am used to it anyway. Time to do some hunting!
