Relationship Note on Domonico
My cousin likes to hurt people. He is good at it. I applaud his dedication. But frec my head hurts. I'm going to have a bruise on my pretty face and it's all Domonico's fault. Of course I made him stagger a bit when I -did- hit him. So that's something. I'll get you, Dom, just you wait!

With all the seriousness and work lately I have not had nearly enough time for leisure. I dislike this. I know some people get a sense of accomplishment being busy, but I really would rather sip brandy, nibble chocolates, and other things. Though I do admit that exploring is a whole other ball of wax. That is DO enjoy. Finding new things, or old things again, has a sense of fun and adventure that work...doesn't. I think from now on I will stop by Lottie's for a treat after every excursion. And before. Properly treating myself should make it more rewarding.

I do not hide the fact that I dislike responsibility. But usually people think it is because I am lazy. And while yes, I like my leisure, that is not it. No. I dislike it because I need to have a freedom to go where I need and when. Despite that I am grudgingly managing the Mangotta ships. I will help Arty and I will do my best. But by the gods he better find someone better suited to replace me. I was -not- born to leadership and I think I quite detest it. My hand hurts from all the writing. Ew.

Well I have finally unpacked...OKay so I’ve unpacked the important things. Mostly the wine and glasses and my clothes and accessories. But mostly I’ve been exploring Arx. So far I’ve met a few interesting people. And of course there is Arty, who welcomed me on my first day here. Such a doll.
I took a look at the grotto. Came across Lord Cullen there. Iwas quite surprised he hadn’t managed to drop his booze when I found him fast asleep in the pool. But he informed me he was a professional lush. I have no reason to disbelieve him. He’s quite charming as was lady Rosalie who joined us shortly there after. Alas I did not get to speak with the lady Rosalie nearly as much before I had to depart.
There are still many places for me to explore in this lovely city. And of course many darling and horrible people to meet I’m sure. I’m excited.
