Thanks to House Malespero, I have discovered that my favorite parties take place in basements - with an octopus, cookies, wine, and a musician. Gracious hosts and very interesting people, I couldn't have had a better return celebration.

I miss Caina, I always will whenever we are parted. I miss my sister, Oriana, as well. These feelings are blunted by knowing that this is best for Caina - and finding eager adventurers to help explore the island fully is going splendidly. I should throw them all a party, a real party.

I have had the most splendid of ideas! Well, perhaps it wasn't my idea, but the idea of two women who are clearly Corsairs in training. A small party, no clothes, masks, and a lot of rum. What could possibly go wrong?
