My research on the Brass Knight continues slowly. I do not know if I ought to continue or start looking more into platinum or a different subject entirely. Perhaps I need to beseech the Queen of Endings since this all seems to point to her nemesis. So much, and yet so far to go.

I appreciated the dinner that Princess Isolde hosted for the whole fealty. When I voiced my concerns and requests, I felt she listened and that they would be acted upon, a boon in my new role.

I doubled down on my commitment to get out of my room, nay, the estate with greater regularity.
Just the other day I decided that I wished to review some papers, and elected to travel to the Black Fox for a change of scene. While I did get some productive work accomplished, I was eventually joined by the beautiful Baroness Calla, the charming Miss Ilira Starling, and the delightfully insightful Prince Patrizio Pravus. We shared drinks and words before I was required back at the estate. I do hope our paths cross once more.
And then just tonight, I met a quite interesting fellow. A mister Cesare of Whisper House. While our exchanges were fairly brief, between the storytelling put on by House Pravus, he struck me as a deeply knowledgeable individual and I feel that I have quite a bit to learn should he have the time, and inclination, to teach me.

I decided to depart the Villa yesterday.
I didn't travel far, simply took a stroll around the Ward to stretch my legs and clear my head.
My wandering eventually lead to the Black Fox where I met the most interesting trio of characters. The charming Lady Sylvie, Count Artorius, and the most interesting Lord Mattheu.
Their conversation and antics helped to right my mind more than the night air. I do hope to see them again soon.

Once you start reading history, you'll have to read all of it, but then you'll find out there's always infinitely more to read, and the more you read the more you'll realize how little of it you'll really ever know.
