Relationship Note on Jeffeth

In a realm of shadows and whispers untold,
Lived a big man named Jeffeth, brave and bold.
With friends in tow, through the mist they'd roam,
Hunting a ghost, far from their home.

Oh, Jeffeth and friends, with courage so true,
Seeking a specter, a ghostly hue.
But what they found in the glen empty and mild,
Was a moose, not a ghost, untamed and wild!

No ordinary moose, but a creature so rare,
White as the snow, with a chilling stare.
Red eyes gleaming, a spectral delight,
Crashing into the glen, causing a fright.

Oh, Jeffeth and friends, with courage so true,
Seeking a specter, a ghostly hue.
But what they found in the glen empty and mild,
Was a moose, not a ghost, untamed and wild!

Snorting and huffing, the moose made its stand,
Charging at the group, across the land.
Spears, bows, and knives, they brandished high,
As they scrambled away, beneath the sky.

Oh, Jeffeth and friends, with courage so true,
Seeking a specter, a ghostly hue.
But what they found in the glen empty and mild,
Was a moose, not a ghost, untamed and wild!

In the chaos and fray, Jeffeth took command,
He saw what was needed, a plan so grand.
Raising his hand, with a gleam in his eye,
A godly smackdown, as the moose drew nigh.

Oh, Jeffeth and friends, with courage so true,
Seeking a specter, a ghostly hue.
But what they found in the glen empty and mild,
Was a moose, not a ghost, untamed and wild!

The slap was so mighty, it echoed with glee,
The moose laid low, from the godly decree.
Yet, such was the force, with a twist of fate,
Jeffeth's own hand slapped him, oh, what a state!

Oh, Jeffeth and friends, with courage so true,
Seeking a specter, a ghostly hue.
But what they found in the glen empty and mild,
Was a moose, not a ghost, untamed and wild!

So ends the tale of Jeffeth so grand,
In a haunted glen, in a distant land.
A moose mistaken for a ghostly deer,
A godly smackdown, that's Jeffeth's frontier!

i have been musing over some of the more fond memories of late. and one struck to mind and simply demanded it be put to rhyme.

In a Hart's brightly lit and crowded space,
Two bards met, a duel to embrace.
Not with words or melodies, but lutes as their might,
They battled in the Hart, beneath the dancing light.

With lutes held high, like warriors of old,
They clashed and they swung, each strike was bold.
The crowd watched in awe, their eyes wide and round,
As the resounding cracks echoed with a deafening sound.

The first bard swung low, his lute like a mace,
Striking the second bard's side, in a furious pace.
But the second bard, not one to be outdone,
Raised his lute high, the battle had just begun.

Each blow landed with a thunderous thud,
As they dueled, they both showed their mettle and blood.
With each strike and parry, they fought with zeal,
Their lutes, their weapons, their battle was real.

The audience gasped, their hearts skipped a beat,
As the bards battled on, the clash of their beat.
Though they wielded their lutes like swords of old,
Their friendship was strong, their story was told.

The duel raged on, till exhaustion took hold,
Their lutes, though battered, their spirits were bold.
In the end, they embraced, their rivalry done,
In this musical brawl, two bards became one.

So in this tale of bards and their lute-wielding might,
Remember, it's not always about the fight.
Friendship and music, in the end, will prevail,
In the arena of life, where stories and legends regale.

while somethings are hard to find silver linings in, despite the horror this city endured during the attack, its been a blessing to see so many familiar faces coming to the compact when its needed.

there never seems to be the time we think there is in life. all we can do is make the most of the time we have

Relationship Note on Savio

Lord Savio, the poet, bright as the sun
He writes with passion, with grace and with fun
But when it comes to humor, he can't resist the bait
He'll pen a rhyme, no matter how late

He's a master of wit, a genius of glee
His funny poems bring smiles to you and me
We adore Savio, his talent and his charm
He's the one we turn to when we need to disarm

So here's to Savio, the brilliant and the silly
He writes with heart, and always makes us giddy
We love you, Savio, for your wit and your art
Keep writing those funny poems, straight from the heart

some days, i bemoan my lack of wit and lyrical skill. Winter has found us.. and the snow and cold hug us close. but oh, winter brings such charming delight though! snuggles and warm fires! hot drinks and close company! if only, if ONLY i had a wit and a mind like Lord Savio.. i could write a poem about snow that would make our hearts sing.. alas...
