Every day, we're drawing closer to the new port at Iasu, to share the wealth of the dear Countess' people with the Compact as a whole and bring to them the wealth of trade, to the benefit and wealth of all!

His most gracious lordship, the Count of Iasu, has offered me the role of Minister of Infrastructure of House Corvini!
I'm grateful, and humbled, by the trust he's shown me. Since I met him, beset as I was by misfortune and misunderstanding, he saw in me something worth preserving--and I am forever indebted. I can only hope that I can live up to the trust he has shown in me.

It took longer than I had hoped, but ever it seems to happen. Even so, Grenaldo and Tiazza's doors are open on Peddler's Row and welcome to one and all!
For now, all we have to offer are liquors I've devised, but soon we'll have curatives, scents and all manner of assortments for sale or trade.

I met the King of the Compact this week.
Merely out and about exploring the city, at one of the higher-recommended coffee-houses in the wards, and what should I see but a great passel of knights in armor a-gleaming, watching over his Majesty his very own self, taking drinks with a young ladyship of another new House. His Majesty gave me worthwhile (if not cheap) advise on drinks to be had, and gave blessings to the new Count and Countess of my new home and fealty. Which was past kind of him.
I suppose it might be this is the kind of thing that can happen in Arx.

Off the docks and into the streets of Arx herself.
It's a strange sort of place, truth, but I have to think I'll do well here. And I've been hearing my Southern Thunder has found a happy welcome here before me.
