It has been a couple of Days, but Marquessa Dominique and I are now to wed a date of course hasnt been set up yet. Will update as I know more.

I seem to be in a constant state of flux. Spending time trying to help prepare for what is about to come. I worry daily that we may not be prepared enough, but I quickly put those thoughts out of my mind when I hear others speak of how we can do it if we but pull together. When Im not worrying about that I looking for good drink and good company or drinking away my sorrows. Though it seems the more time I spend with the Marquessa the less of the sorrows I I seem to feel. Her friendship and kindness has not gone unnoticed. All I know is for the sake of Morale we cannot allow ourselves to be completely consumed by duty. One must have fun as well to keep from going insane. Here I am rambling about random thoughts Oh well its out there now.

Tis a strange thing still, being land locked and not quite knowing much about the ways of the mainland. Count Max Darkwater my cousin has been of great help with my adjusting to this life. Since Ive been here these three weeks Ive had good times and troubled and even sorrowful times. Though I have to say my best times so far have been since Max recommended to Marquessa Dominique Wyrmguard that she and I meet and get to know each other. We have become fast friends if I do say so myself. I hope things continue to go well.
