I have been busy!

I have received a number of custom orders over the last several days, and I have been toiling. I do enjoy the work, of course, and I am amazed that so many are so interested in my work.

I continue to set aside ten percent of every sale to donate to the Temple of Jayus. Praise his name.

Relationship Note on Calypso

Without Lady Calypso, I would still be in one of the worst slums of Southport. I did not hate my life in the shop there, but I also never thought I could ever leave it. And yet, here I am now, with a patron and a shop of my own. What does my future hold now?

Today was a good and busy day.

Since morning I have had people in and out of the shop, either asking about different things I seel, or ordering things. I had an order for a full suit of leather armor, and another person bought a belt. This shows the two extremes of the day!

Like always, I took ten percent of the earnings of each sale and set it aside to donate to Jayus at the end of the month. I would have nothing without my skills.

Relationship Note on Calypso

Without her I would still be toiling away in the worst slum of Southport. Now I am in the military, have my own shop, and have a patron. I am a world away from where I was, thanks to her.

My shop made its first silver today. Someone bought a fine pair of pants with white lacing. Excellent work.

Should I frame the coin or something? Save it to remember later? Hmm.

What a day! Lady Calypso came into my store today and offered patronage, which I took up, of course. I think that will go a long way to helping establish myself in this city. I look forward to the challenge of standing apart from the other leatherworkers, and I know Jayus will guide me in my craftsmanship.

I also watched the archery competition which took place right outside my shop. It was fun.

I finished decorating my shop today, and opened the doors for the first time.

Hanging the sigil of Jayus on the wall, and then opening the door to let in the fresh air of the square was quite the experience for me. It really made me feel how far I've come from begging for food on a Southport street corner. The Malvici have given me everything, with the aid of my skill, and Jayus.

I won't let any of those things down.
