Ever since I saw knights fighting back home, when I learned about what they were I wanted to be one. I'm a house sword but I've never been knighted, so it's a little different for me. Fortunately, I know a knight or two. Terese is helping me learn how to act more like a knight, after she learned that I can already fight like one. She said I just need to work on my presentation. As long as it doesn't interfere with my oaths to my house, it seems like the right thing.

I went to the soiree, let me tell you, the food was amazing. I've stuffed myself. They were all playing games I didn't rightly understand, and I did a terrible job introducing myself, there are so many more people here than I'm used to. Anyways, if I keep practicing I might get better. And the coin and box were pretty cool too.

Relationship Note on Bridget
I met a very trange noble lady today, very strange indeed. She said she was a Lady, but she had not attendants, and I really, really think she should have some. She's either not properly able to look after herself or she's playing some game with me that I cannot fathom. She's strange, and frankly I am worried.

Barely my first full day here in Arx and I can tell you now, I bloody hate the cold. Anyone who says they like it is either a demon or a liar. Or a lying demon. I can't be having with it. I nearly froze my bits off just making it to Magnotta Manor. The Count seems a good sort, a bit stern, a bit hung up on formality, but I reckon his heart is in the right place, it'll be interesting serving as his Sword, or Trident, since I'd say he looks the capable fighter already.
