Well.. finally finished that collection for the end of summer. Hopefully persons will have another look now that I've corrected a few errors with it. Silly needle. But such is life when making beautiful things.

Gods.. sometimes if I don't jot my thoughts down, I'd forget them. My week has been truly productive. I cannot complain, I did much and still much more to do. Commissions are coming in, my assistant keeps me sane and organized, she is learning well and the kitten keeps me entertained and relax. It was about time I got one since moving here but I do miss my horse. Maybe in time, I shall have another. All in time. Time, time, time.

I'm so young, just eighteen but I feel I can do anything I set my mind to. I know there's more talent out there and many who may even be more skilled but I think I am a quick enough learner and driven enough to go as far as allowed in this world. I just need to keep my wits about me and focused, I don't want to be taken advantage of.

I feel like apart from my orders for the Princess Consort, I have been so busy, I wasn't able to do much physical sewing -but- I have things in my mind to make and to make soon. A collection perhaps! Oh yes!~ Oh, it shall be a surprise I think! Then to sort out the patronage things.. oh I fear this will be a hard decision.

Relationship Note on Alarissa
I do count myself lucky, no, fortunate and -very- humbled. The Princess Consort of Maelstrom has allowed -me- to outfit her with plenty an outfit and she expressed how she was most pleased with my work when it was completed! I do hope she will allow me the privilege again for another season.

Oh spa opening! I've never been to one and Lady Gretchen, she sure knows how to hold a GRAND opening! I'll be back, I can already tell this will be one of my favorite places.

I'm finally feeling a little more settled. Everything doesn't seem so big and strange anymore but I have been so wrapped up in work that I feel like I've been keeping myself prisoner but I must finish this important order. I am finally being given the chance to create for someone and I don't want to blow it. Maybe I'll see people after that, make a new friend or two, have a whiskey too.
