When I came to Arx I was fortunate enough in my first patron, Lord Arik Halfshav. He set me on my ways, and I quickly adapted to the city. I made it my drive to make sure that Clearlake was settled in and was thriving. To make sure that our people were adjusting to our new surroundings and ways.

Then Benny came along as he'd be summoned by outside forces. The best part of my life, even with the grim circumstances behind why he came to me.

Then Kritr abdicated and I found myself a Baroness, then a Countess. We built a sanctuary for the Templars; we started a successful fur trade with the help of so many people. I married Lord Vano Rivenshari and he was one of the best things in my life. Lord Mirk became my patron after Lord Arik was dealing with other projects.

Nothing is the same as when I first arrived in the city and nothing will ever be the same. We have grown and we have changed. Clearlake Hold is destroyed, but by our hands. It was our choice to sacrifice our home and to live to fight in other places. I thank the gods and the spirits every day that I open my eyes.

I feel rebuilding Clearlake will start with a new house motto: You can tear us down, but we will rebuild.

Benny and I sailed out to the Bay of Pieros with the Redrain Fleet. I was anxious without my husband as he is the more accomplished fighter and sailor. We are sailing back home now. There were losses, but we are whole. Or as whole as we will be for the time being.

And we will never look at the depths the same again.

I feel that it is time to move on from things I've been clinging to. We're about to undergo changes and it's best to start off fresh.

Spring is here and it means there will be more time to do things for Clearlake Hold. I am proud of our little barony. And Benny. I am always proud of my Benny.

My anxiety was for naught this afternoon, except for my miscalculation of attendees. I didn't make enough cloak pins so I will be fixing that post haste.

We had a wonderful turn out for the Clearlake Snow Ball and I shall say now that there will be one next year as well, maybe alongside the Winter Festival so we can have games in the day and ball at night.

The winner of the cloak auction was Whisper Scipio and I am glad that he loved it. We donated 150,000 silver tonight to the Faith in the name of the Tenny Twins, this does nothing to return them to us or their bright futures that laid ahead of them, but hopefully with the continued support to the Faith and others it will help. I will personally be making a donation to the Scholars as well in the following weeks.

I wanted to personally thank everyone that attended. Everyone was on their best behavior, even Benny. And we even had the lovely Blood Moon over head still that added a crimson hue to the outside world.

I am always anxious before hosting large events, but I hope that everything will turn out for the best.

It is always saddening to hear when young lives are ended. Especially when they had such promising futures. Any loss of life really. There is so much loss going on right now that it's hard to keep track of, but we will. If we don't, then we will lose sight of the things that matter.

The Winter here in Arx makes me miss Clearlake Hold and my brothers even more. Well, I miss the family, not them shoving me in the snowbanks.

I am overjoyed that the marmot furs are being so well received. I am hoping to announce more joyous things for Clearlake as we move into the Winter and the New Year.

That was the strangest shadow I have ever seen...and I should know given Benny casts an unusual shadow as well.

I know it's only early Autumn, but I'm starting to make plans for the first Snow Ball that House Clearlake will be holding. I am excited to plan and I am excited to see the prizes for the raffles be made. It will be fantastic.

I had a wonderful time hosting the Clearlake Torchlight Tourney and I was saddened that Lord Vano could not attend due to private matters. Clearlake with gladly be hosting this event again in the Spring. I wanted to thank all that attended and I hope that the time spent was enjoyed.

Clearlake's annual Spring Festival has come and gone. It was late this year due to things beyond our control. I was happy at the turn out and I got to see some of my favorite people. Dame Felicia Harrow was there and she made a lot of children happy by rescuing candy from little boats for them. I find that being surrounded by friends and having the laughter of children in the air has renewed my spirits a bit more.

House Clearlake hosted it's second Archery Tourney and I couldn't be happier for the turn out that we had. It was the perfect event to break in the new Clearlake Festival Grounds. I was very happy with the way it turned out over the many months of working on the plan. We had many great archers come out and I was thrilled to give out the new prizes for the top three scorers. Princess Ophelia took home first place, Countess Arcadia took second and Lady Rhiannon took third. I hope that all of the winners love their prizes and I hope that those that attended enjoyed their tokens that were handed out. I look forward to the Spring Festival that is soon to be held.

I have been tending to my plot in the Stone Grove and trying to get the other plants that I've been tending to in a good enough state to transfer to the stone grove when it is time to do things. I hope that they will love the pumpkins as much as I have.

Relationship Note on Evander

Benny, my ever faithful and adorable beaver companion, has been insistent that he get to play with the toy ship that Lord Evander sent me very long ago. He's never tried eating it, so I've allowed him to play with it when he goes for a 'swim'. It's amusing to see him take to it. And it always puts a smile on my face.

I'm going to chose a Baron-Consort carefully. Not just the first interested person that comes along. I'm hoping that since it's Spring now I can run across more people. It's sure to be interesting either way.

Plans with Clearlake are going forward. It's a slow movement forward. But that is better than stagnation.
