I will also add, on the topic of rumors.. that often they are based in untruths, half truths and outright lies. In that respect I rather agree that they can be poisonous and toxic fiends that wreck havoc on innocent lives. However, just because one does not like the consequences to their actions - does not mean that the folly is based on rumors. Sometimes the truth is just unattractive when seen from another perspective. Simply put, for every action there is to be expected a reaction. If you do not like the reaction your actions have caused then perhaps it is time to reconsider how you act.

Now that is a fine idea, isn't it? Perhaps then, instead of asking for ideals like patience, consideration and common courtesy I should instead ask for a chance to say "no thank you" before the hand wanders upon my thigh, my breast or a kiss is sought out and given. I assure had any of this been negotiated beforehand, that would have been my answer.
I understand though, that it is easier to look for blame from the other person than to admit that perhaps you crossed a line. Perhaps the hints were too subtle, perhaps you took the lack of outright invitation as a different sort of invitation, perhaps you simply didn't know better... Well, I can only imagine that now you do.

Relationship Note on Zerric
I met a fellow Scholar the other day and his love of the written word delights me to no end. it is so delightful to find in another the same passion that drives you. We have plans to go to the Great Archives and I cannot wait to see his face the first time he looks upon that spectacular ink-laden vista. The knowledge held within those walls is truly a spiritual thing. He also is patroned, it would seem, by the delightful Princess Valencia Velenosa who is inspired to start her own library. Marvelous and well met, Zerric Memphit!
