Relationship Note on Vera
To be held in such high regard by my liege and my niece is the epitome of honor even after considering that to many of my peers, I am no longer a warlord but a soft, old, and crippled man bound to a desk out of pity. If only they knew... To be the only man in a room of strong and intelligent women is a very interesting predicament to be in. Especially when you feel like you need to prove who has the biggest balls. P.S, not me. They taught me humility, how to converge power through diplomacy, economics, and law. They taught me how to wage war (or wage peace as is the Melaeris way) across vast distances and while my injuries are the marks of punishment for crimes against Mangata, their burden is something I carry with pride as I seek absolution from my Goddess for my shortcomings. Being under the tutelage of our sisters, mothers, daughters, and niece is something we can not overlook. To this day, my beautiful niece and liege, teaches me the type of character one must strive to be, in order to lead our house. I couldn't be prouder.

Relationship Note on Vera
Serving my niece, Vera and House Melaeris is like being a fish in water. It is my purpose and I only hope to do so for many more years.
