Relationship Note on Thorn
A Ward of Fidante in title, but she has established herself as part of my family. As such, she is held to the same standards in my eyes as any of my nieces; and each time, she meets it. Thorn is the kind of Wild Child I had imagined myself having as a daughter, when I was a young man, and now that I have met with her, spoken with her, I could confirm it to the whole of Arvum that she is not just wild and free; but deeply invested into the soil of Tor, literally and figuratively. Her wisdom lays in plants and the truth of the earth, rather than people, and besides? She, knows the Secret of the Best Roses.

Relationship Note on Thorn
If Luck is fickle, and love is blind,
then bad ideas to two people can bind.
A game of chance with cards and dice.
A night of fun, the poem was nice.
Friendship is more than fun times, you see.
It's a promise made between you and me.
To help and support, to laugh and to cry.
To be remembered fondly after we die.
And so this message I pen to you,
And say I'll be there whatever you do.
In good times and bad, in storm or sunshine.
To toast to your health when we drink our wine.

Relationship Note on Thorn
With a name like Thorn, I've been asked if I question my ward's motives. I find this to be utterly silly. I question everyone's motives equally, but not because of a name. In fact, I'd think I'd remember more about a redhead named Thorn than I do. How utterly embarrassing for me, but we can certainly make amends, can't we?
