I finally got my rematch against Mattheu in the mud puts. And I won. The Rivenshari gifted me a scarf and I love it. I mean, it's hot as the abyss right now, but I am still wearing it because the colors are so great. Next I need some of those bells. To act as musical accompaniment for the next time I serenade Eirene.

It is always nice to go spend some time with my love and pretend we are not the people we are for just a little bit. I have missed that. We need to do these kind of things more often. Especially with the way our world is right now? We need to remember the important things. Such as love and who it is you wish to spend it with. I am glad I have my person. He makes me so happy. I know, I know, the court may say otherwise but it is nice to have this and will fight for whoever wishes to take it from me.
Jaenelle did a most excellent job with her Feast of Senses. I can't wait to see what will happen next year. She has not disappointed in all the times I have gone thus far.

Relationship Note on Mattheu
We danced tonight. That is nothing new. This is our habit. But it was in the park by the Assembly of Peers. When we were hunting for the Golden Egg the both of us found spots we wanted to see once more.
Matti decided that would be one of our first spots to do so. I teased him and said we needed to start a list and check off which garden or outdoor venue we visited next. I keep my satchel with me often. I do like collecting data you know for scholarly pursuits. I should work on that. Then we can come around and figure which ones are our favorites.
Scholar, Raja had a clever idea to do this hunt. I look forward to the next one she puts on.

Relationship Note on Mattheu
The Feast of Senses has been, and always will be, one of my favorite events. When the Archduchess put out the call she was having it, I immediately sent in my request to take part of it. I always choose to be paired with a random person, in order to make the experience that much more interesting. This year, it seems that my original date never arrived. I do not know who they were supposed to be, but they missed out on an excellent evening.
But, that said, the person that did end up being my date was a most excellent partner. He was kind, patient, and witty. I managed not to spill or smoosh too much food onto his face, since part of the Feast of the Senses was to feed each other, while also blindfolded. We quietly revealed bits and pieces of who we were during the course of the dinner.
My partner, in the end, was revealed to be Lord Mattheu Rivenshari, who had been roped in at the last minute, fresh off the boat, to come join the party. I am ever appreciative that he decided to do so.
