Relationship Note on Lyiana
She brought me not one but two outfits, ready to be completed with accessories. And then she offered a third, all three crafted in aeterna, with breathless patterns and colors. At least one of them, I'm supplying the jewelry of myself. I can't resist. They're too beautiful not to want to be a part of.

Relationship Note on Lyiana
I didn't expect to gain a protege during a meeting with a seamstress to discuss commissions and the like.
I seemed to have been lucky after visiting her shop, Beauty in You. I was put off by the name at first, but Mistress Lyiana does excellent work, even for men's attire, and all in quick time.
Now, I am thinking of ways to expand on her storefront. Not that I don't already have a lot on my plate with my own renovations.

Relationship Note on Lyiana
Lyiana and her daughter have quickly become a very important part of my life, and I cherish the time I spend in their company. Fraiya wants to be a knight when she grows up. I've promised the girl to see her squired, and I will. She needs to come of a proper age for that first, though.
As for Lyiana, she's intoxicating and passionate and I could spend hours just listening to her talk.

All I can say is she has a temper and I walked into a storm I'm not sure I want to even begin to try and navigate. There was no way to salvage that. I think Dame Alexis and I should maybe just depart for quieter conversations next time.

The right occasion to test the friendship of a person is at the time of need. A true friend realizes your need and comes forward to help you voluntarily without any hope of getting back anything in return from you. Such friends are of course very rare, but they are there.

Relationship Note on Lyiana
The other day I was stretching my legs and catching a whiff of fresh air - I can only stomach a desk and stuffy etiquette for so long before going crazy, after all. I stumbled across a shop I hadn't visited before, and what I found inside was frankly disheartening and worrisome at the same time.
Miss Lyiana had been at work for so long that I could swear she was swaying on her feet and practically delirious. Frankly, I found it irresponsible to leave her to her own devices at that point, so I did something I probably ought to not have done: I ordered the woman home, put her to bed and took the time to clean a couple of things up in her apartment whilst one of my guards fetched a hearty lunch from a nearby bakery.
Once she woke up after a good hour or so worth of rest, she was a lot more sensible, and we had a pleasant discussion, save for a minor misunderstanding. I can only hope this young miss took my advise to heart and will watch her own health from here on forth. No matter the talent and love you possess for your craft, it is not worth wasting your life over.
Unfortunately, this little walk of mine ended up taking far longer than I intended when I left, and as such the trade agreements I had left to look at were instead delegated to become the reading material for my evening. Were it not for Gabriel's timely arrival startling me awake, I might just have slept in that chair for the entire night.
How embarrassing.

You're good at what you do, and it wasn't long after you made me a shirt and pant, which I didn't expect to get, that I knew you were too good for me. My service to fix a shelf was nothing compared to the shirt and pant you fashioned for me.
But I said I wasn't a good man but I would try to do good by you. So I will. I do wonder what you truly think...

Chance met. Lyiana has proven to be sweet and doting, and a skilled seamstress beyond. I now own two dresses worthy of the higher society of Arx. More than that, I have made a friend.
