Taken Under a Beautiful Wing
I found myself meeting with the Lady Kaia MAlvinci about rumors and to discuss the history of House Harrow. The sorted, dark past of it and why I have come to be called the Black Sheep Harrow. It turned out that she then offered me to be her Protege and I could not see a reason why it should not be. Both I and Lady Malvinci will find great gains in this alliance of goals and for me to learn more than skills with the sword. Skills I will need very quickly in the events that are becoming more clear will impact all in the kingdom.

In choosing the name Dreysin for our first son, he has been named after the Last Commander of Eastguard.
The Lord Dreysin commanded over that great fortress within the Samar peninsula, a place of healing and refugee for travellers. Where he stood firm in the face of great danger with his Paladins. Knowing that they could not win, but had to apply determination in giving the commoners time to escape, they stayed.
When we first met, you were the Bisland Minister of Histories and like I said at the time, even if easily distracted, I do listen to those tales. So thank you for this one and for suggesting it. Our son will bring glory to the name.

I don't know what Damask is. I am only mildly aware of brocade. I am not so sure that friendship means bringing competing new products to market at the same time. Lady Kaia and Lady Mabelle seem to be the steers of the fashion ship this season.....how long is a fashion season?

Lady Kaia Malvici is truly a lady among ladies. I remember her fondly from youth, before her marriage. She was different then, I almost did not recognize the woman she has blossomed into. Glorious is the only word that comes to mind. She is effortless as she serves a drink. She is refined elegance. I look forward to our next conversation.

Near-to a month apart with our recent projects have taken us to other parts of the Compact. Limerance has, though, always blessed and kept us safe when apart after the near-death on the day of our vows.
But, upon our return, where be the first place we visit together? Why the Botanical Gardens of course. The flowers starting their bloom and giving us the time to reflect together on the Compact, our world, and the next steps before us all.

The wound has healed, the cane has gone.
Accidental strike through the armour in a practice spar. Took a few days, uncomfortable and reminds me while I care little for lifting the spatha, but everyone needs a training partner. Getting the husband to be it is easy.
