Relationship Note on Ignacio
It's been a long time since I wrote in this.....but hey....no time like the present.
That's right....we're back....
Ignacio and I were sent off to Tor on a diplomatic mission some time back quite quickly and suddenly. It was one of the times I had any official business as the admiral of the Torean fleet. It goes without saying that with our lack of letters and writing were busy with dealing with several matters in Tor.
During this time also brought the birth of our daughter Malena. When we first got together we swore we'd never be parents as we were fighters....explorers.....wanting to be free to go as the wind that catches the sails of our ships. I never thought...I'd be a mother...that'd I be horrid at it. However....during my pregnancy I was more and more hopeful and excited. And once I heard that little bundle cry for the first time, I was in love. Her dark girl locks and green eyes....already trouble with her looks. And with being the daughter of Ignacio....we're really in trouble.
We're happy to be back in Arx with our daughter in tow to get back in the swing of things here now.
Oh....I need to have a crib commissioned to match our home here....I should get on that. I doubt Iggy will let her have anything less than a bed of roses to sleep upon if he could.

Relationship Note on Ignacio
I must give credit where it is due and offer praise when it is deserved. When we were both younger and living in Tor, Ignacio was known for his many, many pranks. Though I was only a few years younger, his mastery of mischief was always to my delight. Who would have thought all those years ago I would be a Duchess and he would be my Voice?
He has gone above and beyond the call for me and for that I am forever grateful.

Never thought I'd be married...like ever. I was content on the seas and on expeditions....didn't think I'd make it this far.
Thanks for being my best friend, my confidante and better half. Also.....thanks for putting up with my antics but I think we're even on that.

Relationship Note on Ignacio
Much of my week has been occupied with a certain Knight of Roses, Lord Ignacio Fidante of Tor. He has paid for lessons in war strategy. I used the Pirate War primarily. We went over each battle over and over and discussed different strategies for had things been a little different. Part of the time we would go over history lessons, basically - discussing ancient Generals and ancient wars. The man has promise and were he to ask for more instruction in the future or even a casual drink as friends I wouldn't turn him down.
I am still offering lessons for the rest of the week. We're working to outfit our new troops and to rebuild our forces so the extra silver is a great boon. I charge 50,000 silver a lesson - a number my brother Samael came up with. People have been willing to pay so I guess he picked right.

The celebrations are over. My husband and I have wed and had our reception with some dear people.

My cousin is a married man! I do not believe I would be saying those words about Ignacio but over the last few years he's certainly done a lot of growing up.
I miss the times when we were younger and I'd encourage him to pull a prank on Leo. Truth is, Ignacio did not need much encouragement.
I hope his bride has a good sense of humor.

Lord Ignacio was one of the very first people Saoirse met in Arx. He participated in drinking southern vintages, spreading the word about them, and otherwise welcoming her.
