Relationship Note on Helena
My little sister proves time and time again just how marvelous she truly is. I doubt there is anything in all of this vast world of ours that will ever stop her bright spirit. Having her in Arx is a blessing for not only me but for our family, our House. There's nothing I wouldn't do for her.

Relationship Note on Helena
My impressive cousin, Princess Helena, sister to the princesses Agatha and Elgana, is such an inspiration to me. Between her poetry events and assisting with the upcoming Festival of Death, I envy how easy she makes it all look. I think all of those sisters all have that talent, really, and it makes me so proud that I get to call them family. Not only is Helena an exceptionally talented artist, but she has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. She has helped me with some projects despite her busy schedule, and I could not be happier to have her as both cousin and dear friend.

I feel truly thankful for those in Arx who consider me 'friend' enough to offer a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen with.
Grief takes on many forms and I find mine tends to jump out and bother me when I least expect it.
I can be happy and playful one moment and someone can speak about or do something that will suddenly sap me of all my joy. It brings me to a point where the grief is new and real as if it weren't months old. And, sometimes, the grief and memories, even the good ones, bring me to such a dark place, I can hardly see my way clear of it.
So, thank you, Princess Helena, for being an ear and for offering your shoulder. It was most appreciated and I enjoyed the chance to talk.

I only had intended to play for those precious few stubborn birds left who dared to resist the oncoming cold, and found a courteous and friendly audience in you.
Now, after autumn has fallen to winter, which in turn shall retreat before the approaching spring, I find that I owe those stubborn birds a great debt.

Muddy and absolutely no truffles to show for it. Princess Helena and I came out empty handed though I apparently failed far worse than she did but together managed to put on quite a show. I believe I still have mud in my ear from trying to grab my board. Lord Aethan represented us all and put most of us to shame. I must write a song about the Two Maidens Fair and The Boar. It will be a grand retelling of our familiarly with mud.

The last time someone stopped in the shop to chat and give me idea, we ended up covering the city with copper brooches and had a huge number of people help do the same. I never know what little bit of magic might cross that threshold and your visit was quite a joy. I am really researching that idea you mentioned! As promised, if I manage something of the likeness, you will be the first to know.

My cousin, Princess Helena, has recorded a poem from one of her readings here that gave me pause, like I could almost see the images and feel the grief anew. With construction underway for our new library, it is my hope we might find someone to put those words to art so it can find a place of distinction there. Unless, of course, I might convince her to allow us to frame her original writing of it instead.
