My Duchess wife,
Most of the Arvum will never get to know you the way I have. I treasure those moments that I got to see the woman behind the title and responsibilities. Know that I was very glad and honored to serve at your side, but if something should happen to me, please take care of our three beautiful daughters. They will need comforting if something should go awry. And if something should, I hope you find the love you've always wanted and what I could never give. Hold your chin up high and never be afraid.
Aileyna, Zaria, and Thaliana, you three were the light of my life these last few years. I leaned heavily on seeing your smiling faces to brighten my own. I love you my sweet girls. If something happens to me, know that I went to war for you three, for your futures, above my own. Be brave in the storms to come my darlings, your time to Dream is still yet to come.
I'm most proud, of all my girls.

I did not, in my wildest dreams, expect seraphinite to take off like it has. While I may have been the driving force behind the campaign, the idea was far from mine alone. Arcadia encouraged every step of it.
Duchess Grazia, however, was the one that convinced me to send pieces not only to friends and family so that they might more easily talk it up, but to notable fashion icons and Whispers, as well. It felt strange, sending a gift with a request to flash it about. I did not expect how amazing everyone would be. The letters of thanks back, and the lengths of promotion..
I never would have gone so far, if not for my patron. Thank you for pushing me.

As regards the Crovane-Byrne announcement, I think you yourself proved he would do no better, your Ladyship. Given stereotypes about the Lyceum it is easy to forget all its many lands are not vineyards. Such tart words as spoken today however only prove that were the lands of your Duchy suitable for farmland, they would still prove an inferior vintage, as sour grapes can ruin the flavor of a truly sweet concoction.
I might add that your 'upjumped commoner' not only became a Lady in her own right, but went on to not just become a Countess in her own right but set a new line of succession after rescuing the remnants of a House ruined by its /born heir/ before now moving on with that same dignity, poise, and skill, to add her discerning nature and wisdom beyond her birth to our Northlands' peoples.
I love rarefied and flawless stone as much as the next person but can a man be blamed if he'd rather not take it to bed?

This woman is the strongest lady that I know. I may not be the best husband in ways that many other men probably are, but I know we make a great team regardless... and now she's brought into this world a daughter for us. For this, for Aileyna, Grazia has my deepest affections.

While our marriage was dutifully arranged for political ties between our houses, I have come to know this woman now, as my wife. House Grayson honored me more than I ever knew by delivering me into this marriage contract, a Blessing by the Gods I swear it. I will always be a Prince of the GraySon by blood, but now I'm rising to be a Duke of the Falcons and feeling the Rubino pride swelling in me, and GODS it feels so good to SOAR!! It is a strange happy feeling that someone trusts in my decisions and opinions, acknowledges my ideas and wants to implement them! It's incredible what it does to my confidence to be asked how I would handle a situation or what I would do and then be allowed to handle it. Grazia, I couldn't ask for a better wife - how did I get so lucky to marry such a woman? I'm at a loss why the whole of Arx wasn't fighting for your hand? BUT their LOSS and my eternal gain! My brother chose well for me and making father proud will be an easy task with you at my side. Our future looks truly golden. I am so glad you chose to fly with me.
