Relationship Note on Geralt

Husband-

We didn't marry for convenience. Hell, we didn't really marry for political gain. We married because the world was ending and neither of us wanted to see that alone. I don't love you, yet. But if we survive I can see myself loving you. So I'm going to survive. I'm going to help keep the world alive. Because I want to see our love. I want to build a family. I want our *future*.

Relationship Note on Geralt

Everything about your dream sounds painful.

A bath in whiskey would be most unpleasant. As someone who's had her fair share of whiskeys poured on her face (almost entirely by herself), I can assure you that it's unpleasant to bathe one's face in. It gets in the nostrils, and it burns. It gets in your eyes, and it BURNS.

Thinking about submerging my lower half in it brings with it only flinching and further shuddering.

...and to make matters worse, you spilled your drink.

Painful.

Your journal reminds me of a wise saying.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.

Someone else's -boots-? That's -disgusting-. I hope you were wearing your own socks at least.

Relationship Note on Geralt

Everyone has at least one especially beloved and interesting uncle. I do believe this is a fact of life. Perhaps Aion always wished he had a someone to tell interesting stories and give him candy, and now, forever, the same story plays out in the Dream.

Well, mine has come to Arx, after a time away! Geralt Crovane!
No longer do we suffer in a world of Sir Jeffeths, and Marquis Magnuses, with no giant warriors of our own!

It's a very good time to have the Sword of Stormwall with us, here, for certain. Troubles and dangers abound. But I'll admit that I'm more excited about the childish glee offered by the chance to hear more stories involving giant squirrels, and pink bears. Old Lenne would doubtless has been too wound tight to admit to that. But New Lenne? Well, New Lenne will enjoy herself, far more shamelessly.

Relationship Note on Geralt

Gods above, I forgot the man had greyish eyes. I remember him from occasional encounters when I was literally a child and he was around the age I am now, then one visit when I was around twelve. I remember him being larger than life, but even that didn't truly do justice to him in person when I saw him again today for the first time in over a decade.

Do you consider that actually winning the contest, though? I don't!
