Just wait until autumn, and in the right forest, your cloak will blend in. In other seasons, though, I won't be offended if you take off the cloak when you need to. Also. The cloak you made me is beautiful, I love it, and it will be brought out as often as I can manage to be worn and fussed over.

I've had the pleasure of adding Messere Audgrim to my trio of proteges lately. I have taken pains to find people with particularly different interests and skillsets and who I enjoy the company of, and I am pleased to say he is one of them. That is not because he made me a beautiful coat, but it didn't hurt.

I was recently gifted a very lovely pair of boots, which I learned were made by Messere Audgrim. I had nothing that matched (a situation I am quickly remedying), and so I went to his shop to see what other goods he might have or be able to make. After a brief talk, and some measurement taking, he created an incredible skirted corset to match the boots. This is one of those pieces that makes me feel amazing when I put it on. I am so pleased with his craftsmanship and eye for detail.

In search of armorers to outfit me for battle. I recently happened upon Goodman Audgrim's shop. I'm very glad I did. His wares are excellent, and his skill at his craft is considerable. I sent him some exotic deer leather that's notorious for being quite difficult to work with, and within no time at all he turned it into a pair of finely-worked leggings. I'm pleased that I've ticked another item off my list, thanks to his willingness to work at such short notice.

It takes a hard man to make me pay full price. The boots are beautiful so who would listen to me complain, and I'm still glad we met. Audgrim raises a good point, getting involved with the Crimson Blades could be quite lucrative. Young soldiers tend to have an affinity for rubicund and I happen to know a few guys. The horrible arithmetic of war does include a hefty profit for smart merchants that want to provide the best life for their family after all.
