While I am thankful to have the services of Doctor Bathwater, and the benefit of his laboratory, I am equally thankful for the foresight to construct such as a separate building. Hopefully, the inevitable towering inferno will harm none.

Relationship Note on Clover
It's a relief to have the contracts worked out and the betrothal announced. I think my expectation that things would slow down after that were largely unfounded, since there seems to be rather a lot left to be done, and more added by the day. It is, however, a happy sort of busy.

It has been a strange few days since arriving in Arx with household in tow and beginning from a room in an inn to setting about furnishing our new home. I can say that for the most part, it has been a pleasant experience, though I worry, given that events transpiring while I try to catch up are apparently grave. I dislike these reports of elfwasps. I clearly have a ways to go before I am up to speed. I observed the aftermath of a duel today, though not the event itself. I am told there wasn't much to see. Things have come together with regards to my negotiations with House Wyrmguard much better than I had even hoped.
