Always enjoyable, with an excellent sense of humor. And yet I think there's something much deeper beneath all of that as well. Easy to talk to, even if I wonder if you're hearing far more than I'm saying.

I have to say, Thrax knows how to throw a party. Also, I have mixed feelings about rum, which may be muddled by the amount which I consumed.

For the first time, I feel as if I may be getting my feet beneath me in the city. It's strange, so many people of so many classes, all packed in so tightly. But running the Gauntlet, having a chance to joke and challenge with others from the Oathlands, reminded me that while I may only be familiar with home, home is in the people and the relationships, and those are everywhere.

Relationship Note on Michael
A chance meeting, an interrupted prayer...and yet it's hard to hold any grudge against him. I have a feeling if I let him see me laugh once, he'll make it his goal to steal a smile whenever he can. I suspect that would not be an entirely bad thing.

Relationship Note on Cristoph
My brother is as persistent as ever, a never-ending font of ideas and every step needed to transform them into reality. I used to envy him and his abilities, and yet now I have nothing but admiration for his drive and success. I only hope I can live up to what he'll need of me.
