Relationship Note on Ilvin

What a joy it is to have Blessed Ilvin return to our city once more. My heart sings with happiness to know he is home again.

I have never met a man more kind, thoughtful or genuinely warm, I think. I have missed him terribly.

We are so blessed to have such a fine Archlector of Limerance, and I feel even more blessed to have such a beautiful friend.

I look forward to spending many wonderful moments sharing in his company.

Welcome back, dearest friend.

Hops needs clothes. Hops will chew clothes up. Hops needs only the most durable fabrics to ensure his clothing lasts. I do love my friend.

When someone says 'the cat is out of the bag', they mean Evaristo Arterius. Always. Forever. I'm certain of it.

The delirium that comes with both the onset and the loss of love is remarkably similar, in my experience.

Instead of falling in love again, I pray to the gods that I fall into Truth.

I expect and trust it will be, gods willing, more lasting.

Augusto Supreme made a charming face today when he sneezed and spat out the carrot he was eating. I think it offended his pride when I gave the carrot back.

Is it possible to be overly attached to a 'lifestyle'?

I'm sure the answer is yes, for many of the more hedonistic individuals among us. But if we ignore the grand pleasures that wealth can afford you - is it still possible to be attached? Attached to eating dry, stale bread in the morning from the same shop every day? Attached to a rattling window when a nasty wind passes it by? Attached to dirt and grime and everything.. not-so-nice?

Hm. I've been very introspective lately. My father would be so proud - I must remember to write.

I've met many who hunger for knowledge - people who will not be satisfied till they have turned every stone, scaled every mountain and squeezed every ounce of information out of the people they meet.

If you are one of those individuals - be careful.

Ignorance is bliss, and you can never have it back once it has been lost.

Mistward Labradors, I think that is what I will call the new dogs I am looking at breeding. They are rather large working dogs, around 22 to 30 inches tall at the shoulder. With an outer coat that is coarse and flat and has an oily, water-resistant quality that is perfectly suited to the dog's strong desire to be in the water. Their undercoat is soft and dense and requires daily brushing; they shed excess hair year round. They seem to come in a few varied colors; black, black with white, and brown with white splashes on the chest and tail tip. Personality wise, they are calm and docile in nature, extremely loyal working dogs, with a sweet temperament. I have found them to be easy to train, and wonderful with children, it was commented that they are sometimes referred to as nanny dogs. Oh, and they are excellent swimmers, their paws are webbed!

I'm rather excited at having found them and looking forward to breeding them!

I'll be very glad when the interest in this book dies, and people find something new to get all crazy about. In the meantime, maybe I should distract myself with some sort of Winter festival. Hot chocolate fountains, snowmen building, ice forts and snowball fights, and sledding all sound great.

It wouldn't be a party in Setarco without a poisoning, would it? I have felt the very first glimmer of gratitude to be abstinent from alcohol. Just a faint glimmer, mind you, but a warmth nonetheless.

It was a pleasure having a chance to meet some new people this past week, and make their acquaintances. I do not have many friends, and I hope that some of those that I did met, bit become friends in the future.

Relationship Note on Rane

We have made such progress today and before your wedding. That armour, while it could have shone bright, would not have suited today. Instead the aeterna doublet and fine floor-length cape serves today as your armour to protect you upon the dance floor as wife of yours, Baroness Katherine and yourself begin your first steps together.

I was unsure about attending the Question and Answer gathering that Sister Dianna held at the Shrine of the Thirteenth, and now afterward I find that I am very glad that I did. Having a chance to learn about The Thirteenth in such an way was refreshing, as was spending time after it talk with Val about the Thirteenth some more. I hope I have the pleasure of getting to attend more of these events in the future.

I don't know what this book is all about but I wish I had a copy so I could sell it to nobles at a huge markup.

Nobles go bonkers spending on stuff like this.

Attended the Remembrance of Arcadia. She would have been pleased to know..I dont remember walking home but Rowenova's dog was close by. And I woke up face planted on my couch covered in glitter. That won't come off...Because I DO remember my Duchess tossed it in giant handfulls.

Some times it is rather like hiding from the winter weather. This seems to be one of those seasons.

I am not certain anyone will wish to read of this in times to come, and it's not anything wrong with the weather, more just how this babe is taking me.
