The fist fights of the people's tourney was amazing to watch and even more fun to be a part of. Congrats to Savio, a most amazing win by the bard. taunting everyone with a song and then claiming that he would be swallowing teeth. And instead, the man won. Well done.

Many ran around the city today. And congrats to them for showing their prowess in doing so. I had a lovely walk, and got to see my love for a few minutes while they berated everything, even the kittens. it was a lovely afternoon.
Remember to take a moment to really see what's around you.
It might be a race, though there's plenty that can be missed if we don't slow down every so often

Too many lifetimes have passed, I cared not for them.
A simple wind carries the thoughts of many across the city.
None hear the cries unless it is what they seek deliberately

What is this world, this dream that is being fought to hold onto for so many to be stuck not being allowed to be with who they really wish to be with?
Scholar, I ask you with a full heart. Why must the many be forced into a loveless life, just to produce a heir, when there are hundreds if not more, as war is coming of orphans seeking a forever family?
Why do I watch many nobles hiding into corners to share a smoke or a small word?
Why is it that the commoner is given a freedom to love as freely, but those that have been sworn by duty and rank to provide and protect us are not?
If this is the dream that we seek to protect...
I don't know if I have the will to follow.

What was once thought to be nothing more than a passing night, the light of which gone as quickly as it was found, only to find it again in the autumn.
Mine winter is nearing only by temperance of which others will see, not of what shall actually be. Spring and Summer scream loudly for that is what is sought, neigh this sinking of waves lapping upon the chest.
Oy! A cry across the winds of which none bother to feel, yet for one. A lone tree, massive, and strong. Holding up the coverage of safety from all of the storms, from which I can build a shield and club.
No more will the masses tell me what I can and cannot do.
The passing night's orb traded for warmth and breath.

Relationship Note on Savio
Someone said to praise Savio... I do one better, and have started crafting the instrument that we were talking about. Savio will be the first, and maybe the only performer with the instrument. As some that have come by the shop to see what I've been working on have exclaimed "Why are there bones on it?!"

Relationship Note on Caprice
Caprice is one of the most patient teachers that I have ever come across. Even in retraining and relearning skills that I once had, while this might have helped some. She has been patient as I swore up a storm or started laughing in the multiple times I might have stabbed myself in learning stitching again. Even was kind to the kittens as they shed on everything. I have done my best to clean up the fur and hope that she forgives me. If you're like me and seeking teaching with a needle and thread, look no further than Caprice Artiglio.

Relationship Note on Savio
After an interesting discussion of musical instruments it appears that I will be attempting to built a very special instrument that I haven't seen in a long time. Though would love to hear again. The main question at hand though, dear scholar... Due to its size, could it be built as a weapon as well?
I supposed trial and error in the build will tell us.
Now to go find a supply of horse hairs.

First time back in the city in awhile. Not much seems to have changed. Though, it is good to see that fellow Shavs can hold a position of authority. I also see that the nobles are great at arguing with each other as usual.
