I'm a Harlequin but I am also a bard; so why not combine it all and spread Death's word to as many corners of the Compact as we can? We'll start in Arx, because where would be more appropriate?
I am thankful to have so many talented generous people stepping up to take charge of things, as well. I know what I want, but getting there - well, I can't do it myself.

But no more. We shall stop this. We WILL solve this mystery and put an end to the suffering.
That foul smelling pew in the Shrine of the Queen of Endings and Beginnings - we WILL find out why it smells.

The whole crew are getting more cheerful, knowing we'll be sailing a lot more. In between, my time will be dedicated much to the Queen.

I've already had a chance to help someone, even if in truth, I mostly just listened and offered some encouraging words. It doesn't have to be more than that, does it?

Glad to see her back in Arx - we met at the Shrine of the Queen of Endings, like that first time we met. So much to talk about.

I've certainly made some memories that will last my entire life. Some experiences that are mind blowing. Some meetings that are more etched into my mind than others.
I might be getting used to Arx and the winters. Though I am definitely looking forward to sailing south soon.

But today, I feel proud. I feel proud that I know Nightingale Gianna Whisper. I'm even more proud that she's trained me herself. I'm proud that I am the Mockingbird of the Bard's college, working for her and with her.
I like to bask in her glory, entirely selfishly - but I think she might forgive me.

And I don't even know how, why, where or what.
It's probably nothing. I mean, how bad can it be? Besides, I'm sure it'll work itself out. It always does, sometimes without me even having to do anything about it. Like that time when I woke up in a gutter and had no pants, but right THEN a really sweet lady walked right on by on her way to visit a sick friend, so she hurried me into her cart and I came along and she got me a pair of linen pants at her friends, and it proved she was looking for a ship to carry some goods into some dangerous waters and paid really well for it, so I lost my pants but made a really good earning on that trade run, I mean, sure, there were dangerous waters and all but all we ran into was a ship of pirates that were all poisoned by some turtle soup they'd eaten a day before, so we ended up helping THEM out and they were so thankful they gave us some of their loot, the loot proved to have been stolen off another vessel off of some down far south and we ran into THEM in the harbor we went to, and they got their items back - for free - but they were so thankful they gave us first dibs on a really good other trade deal BACK to Darkwater Watch.
Also, I did get my pants back when returning to Darkwater Watch, apparently the one that stole them had ended up stumbling as the pants were too long on him, he hit his head on the cobblestones and just died on the spot. My pants still had a letter in them adressed to me, so they found me and gave them back.
So, maybe it's a bit like that.

I'll make a donation to the Physicians in thanks for your good work. I've had reason to benefit from it myself a time or two.
Also, you people that jump off roofs, try to outrun angry bulls or stand up on your horse to see if you can balance while it moves ahead?
Why aren't you inviting me to come watch?!

I've seen some hilarious stunts happening too, with only a few minor incidents. The Iron Guard DID step in and helped down an overjoyous young woman from a roof as she was going to jump into a cart of hay below - I thought that was a bit overzealous, I'm sure she would've been fine. I mean, the cart was over six feet wide and like nearly twelve feet long and there must've been oh, I don't know, at least a couple of feet of hay on there. Or manure. It was a bit hard to tell, it was quite dark.
I paid her fines, I mean, felt only right. I'm not sure what the fines were /for/ - I think it was something akin of 'unlawful use of roofs'. But I wasn't entirely sober myself, and the fines weren't that high, wasn't much to argue about. I did try to talk the Iron Guards into doing a race WITH that horse and cart around the block, to which they said they'd be happy to escort me to the Iron Jail to spend the night, to which I said I already had a place to stay for the night, thank you very much, and they said that they would let me stay there for free, to which I replied that I almost never pay for anywhere I sleep.
I believe I won the argument as they left us to wander onwards.
