It seems I have acquired a tutor who says she can help me be a better general. I recall her telling me some of her story but clearly I do not know enough of it. It seems I will have ample opportunity to learn more.

I have had a couple of peers reach out to share what histories they know or written accounts they have of historical battles but I begin to wonder if perhaps I'd have better luck if I were to offer a reward, or barter. Not that wondering if that might improve response means that I have much anyone would find of interest.

Well I finally learned of one of the places I had wanted to learn about but couldn't remember. Uanna. I think I will commission some art though I don't think there is any realistic chance of capturing the splendor of the place-but I am certain an artist can inspire one's imagination.

Have decided to turn my attention to learning to be the best General possible. Deciding that was the easy part. Now the rub is figuring out HOW. First step: studying Generals before me. Both bad and good.

I am perpetually behind on the happenings of Arvum. The more I learn the more lost I am. At least I have chosen a direction to pursue. I will study the tactics and strategies of ever battle that history remembers. That ought to keep me plenty busy.

I completed the first version of my own board game. Fealty, A Game of Conquest. I am going to start reaching out to artisans to see if they can help me develop it further and add some artwork to it all. At the very least it appeals to a larger audience then any other game I've played.

I've gotten some local crafters to help me make the first version of my board game. I need to do some fine tuning with the rules, but I think I'm going to ask Alexio to help me come up with a final design. We might even need to come up with a new name, not exactly a lot of stones included anymore.

Thea gave me the medical training I was desperately in need of. Once I have some time to break it down in my head I'm going to add some new drills to the Corsairs. Even just basic wound care seems to make a big difference.

Zoey is a great hostess. She had the Kay filled with conversation and laughter, not to mention brimming with the next generation of little Kennex. I can't believe she is having -TWINS- next. With Catalana talking about matches, maybe I ought to get on board with this in my own way before it gets ahead of me. Maybe I'll see about taking care of Leif. He is about the age he could start training and the last thing my cousins want is one more kid to take care of.

Servant said something about a sea themed ball after I asked about the commotion. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to show off the tourney suit, don't really own any dresses. Lots of booze, some stories about the Eurusi fighting, Haakon said he'd show me the captured ship before he sails back out to meet them. I think I passed out on the feasting table.. Nice people, they only asked me to leave, didn't wake up in the gutter this time.
