If you fix a broken toy, it's possible that with an incredible amount of work, attention and love, you might fix it so that it seems as it was - with no sign of whatever was broken. Most of the time though, there is still a scar, stitching out of place, an ear missing. Still beloved, and still good, but not exactly the same as it once was.

That is not necessarily a bad thing.

Today's tea was a white tea, with lovely hints of delicate eastern fruits and berries. Delicious and refreshing.

Relationship Note on Ryhalt

My brother is a man of amazing abilities, a brilliant mind and a lovely sense of humour. I hope that all runs in the family.

There is so much going on, it is difficult to keep up. Family and friends, please be safe.

Actually, everone, please be safe. There seem to be many villages that are being attacked - this leaves me with an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I cannot believe what I am hearing about the Mercier holdings and family!

Today's tea is a lovely lavender lemon, one of my favourites. It's one I often enjoy, at any time of year. But I do particularly enjoy it, while I sit on my swing, with my children curled up beside me.

Today's tea is an apple tea with almonds and chocolate. It's very delicious. I believe it might be a Mercier tea, though I'm not entirely sure. Whoever blended it, it's delicious.

As the temperature warms and summer comes, my children spend more time outside. The laughter rings through the air, and their joy and fun is contagious.

I still really don't have a lot to say. This feels strange for me.

I haven't written much lately in my journal. It seems that I haven't really had a lot to say, with all that is going on.

Today's tea is a black tea, a mix of a variety of leaves that is a gentle morning wake up. Far gentler than my children were when they bounced on the bed.

Today's tea is an apple tea, with cinnamon and honey and spices. It's delicious and reminds me of a good apple cider.

Only it's tea.

Today's tea is a flowery chamomile tea, which is delicate and tasty. Quite yummy especially during colder weather. It reminds me of summer.

On a completely different topic, I cannot believe how fast children grow. Garrick's 3rd birthday is coming soon enough, and the twins will be 6 this summer.

How is this even possible?

Prayers are interesting, I find. I've been praying as I often do, though it's rare that I pray for myself as well as others, at the same time for the same thing. Still, I find if nothing else, it helps me to focus in on what the issue it.

Which in and of itself is helpful.

Cider is delicious. Lord Michael had a wonderful thought to have a cider tasting at the Badger. I think the spiced was my favourite, and then the mulled. I was less fond of the robust though.

Mind you, I might be a little bit tipsy after all that cider.

And Master Audgrim's rose leather confections of clothing are wonderful.

Relationship Note on Cirroch

I was there when Marquis Sanna felt. Not right there close up, but sitting on a stretcher having been injured in the commotion.

I - was only mildly injured, so that I could stay to pray and hope that my prayers were answered.

I think maybe Marquis Sanna was the answer to the prayers - he is a hero, and protected us all.

We will remember.

Sunaia came to visit the other day. It was lovely to spend time chatting with her. I miss that, now that she's married and off living her life of adventure. I still recall her helping to teach me how to climb a tree and wincing at the bright white and blue of my armour.

Though now I think on it, she never did get me that Ashford armour. Ah well, I suppose the Farshaw colours suit me just as well.

It was good to catch up with Ryhalt the other day and get a swing from my big brother. I enjoy moments like that. Family. It's important for us all to remember what it is that we are striving for.

I want that feeling of family and love for everyone.
