Now everything is official I really should perhaps learn to swim. Perhaps by someone else other than Thrax or of Eastern Light. They seem to favor the toss him in and see if he beats the sharks and makes it out of the water. Fun for the sailors, fun for the sharks, not so much for me...

It looks as if marriage negotiations are going forward. She still seems willing despite asking if she was going to get as large as the Princess Alarrissa when she was with child. I was merely wondering as I would imagine sailing would be difficult, and she would be sad and depressed about it. She took it another way I think.

Meet with my hope to soon be betrothed's family.
Did not die, even after I had sent a drunk messenger to the High Lord telling him I was stealing a ship and a princess at one point.
Meet with voice of my house telling them I wanted to open marriage negotiations, and the fact I stole a ship and princess at one point from my hope to soon be betrothed's house

Tried to start a debate in the bar which caters to my soon to be betrothed's house about how Brown Nut Ale was clearly the superior drink, and how I was going to marry their princess. Or well I wanted to marry their princess,
Die not die though the threat of being stuffed in a barrel of rum and being made to drink my way to life was on the table
I know I am a soldier, but I really do think I need to redefine my measure of success to be more than "Not dying".

I am a member of the Order of the Eastern Light. I feel good and part of a cause. Now, onto a very minor (major) issue. I really do need to learn to swim.
