I do not know him well at all, yet know all that I need to. Our paths have been drastically different, yet led us to the same place.

Relationship Note on Driskell
Say what you want about the man, he's reliable and flexible, both rare qualities in anyone these days but nearly unique in combination. Sure enough he harbors the usual set of theories about supernatural effects and monsters but such are expected among sailors, and it has never impeded him from carrying on an assignment.
