Lycene games -- of the strategic variety (not the naked kind) -- were entertainingly hosted by Lady Videl at the Great Hall in the Domus Igniseri.
First Place: Lord Quintin. Second Place: Mistress Nurie. Third Place: Me!
Princess Liara and Sir Merek were formidable challengers, too. A fun time was definitely had, not only due to fine company and great eats/drinks but also due to Sir Floppington being there, too!

To clear up any confusion there may be out there (due to the classified ad which was posted everywhere): I still live in the same abode as I did before.
Winner Dinners have been a slow go, though, as I have been sorting myself out through so many life changes. However, I would like to start catching up with everyone I invited.

Thank you so much to Mistress Petal for setting up the Spring Lodge Planting where so many were incredibly supportive to my dear husband who recently lost many friends in Kalslov/Volkov lands. Thank you all for your caring regard.

Everybody has their Stuff and Things that they do. Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody has misunderstandings with people that they never meant to hurt but unfortunately did. It generally sucks for everyone when bad stuff happens, but you can work on /specific issues/ to hopefully find solutions together: or at the very least just leave each other alone.
Hopefully, you can forge tighter bonds than you would have otherwise and then maybe even laugh later about it all over drinks in the future, too.
[ I have been lucky enough to have good friends after some bad situations. ]
Everybody has their unique stories which shaped them into who they are, and there are some people in this world who are more in touch with their own emotions and are more expressive than the average person walking down the street most times. People like this are blessings in disguise, especially during these dark times: when there are much bigger fish to fry than the random cheerful person who shows up in your life.
It is nitpicky, petty Stuff to blame the emotiveness of another for your own personal problems, especially when they are just being their happy selves, and especially when they are not hurting anyone else. If they do hurt you or someone else about whom you care, focus on that specific instance, rather than sitting around and blaming their Happiness, Sadness, Stuff, and/or Things for whatever insecurities you might have (which is a cop out for your own deal).

Relationship Note on Draven
My loving husband has had a stressful week yet bravely saved a couple lives (during an escort mission for a Northern caravan coming down to Arx), then courageously handled physical pain during a separate adventure, put up with emotional stress on multiple occassions (my own fault often enough), and is still here and so good to me (despite everything ever going on all over).
It might not be well known (but it really should be) that my dear Professor [Draven Bruvir] also did a fair share of good deeds in times past, too.
In the Physician's Guild, he worked hard in the triage hospital during the Lodge defense, doing so through that rough experience to caringly heal our injured people. Not only was there an Alchemy project at the Redrain Gardens but also a Gardening project at the Stone Grove with Voice Valery of the Apothecary College (of which he is an esteemed Professor), too.
He generously paid for my 'survival gear' to hopefully help me 'last longer' during the Lodge ordeal, too. To this day, we ardently disagree on whether I still owe him. I still do, of course, but he lovingly assures me: "I am just glad you came home to me like I asked. If that's the bill that I have to pay, to make sure you do, I'll pay that and ten times more every time, if I can."
We will eventually work on our second adventure for Cascade Springs, too, the first one during which he was a dedicated Alchemist, Herbalist, and Medic.
Last but not least, he put up with my Northern ass in his Lycene life, doing so for 9 months after we first met around 'Love Poison' before we finally married with written promises to one another which are mutually signed, even if the common class does not have to do so. Now, he is trying hard to fit in with Compact life as well as hopefully become a Halfshav commoner.
My amazing husband is a wonderful man. He is one of the best Things which has ever happened to me. I love him more than I can ever write down in mere words.

Long ago and far away; Lady Amari, Lady Lisebet, and I were the runners up at the Very Serious Bath Party (before Count Giulio came up with a lung buster).
Now, we three women are hanging out in the Bold Espressions, reflecting back, conjuring up ideas anew, and just having a great time.
It is just one of many more wonderful moments these days.
[Additional Information: Lady Rosalie Redtyde was also a runner up during that same event with us, too, but I only focused what was going on in front of me last night and spaced out that important detail! There were four of us!]

Relationship Note on Draven
Alchemist Draven Bruvir and I wrote out and merrily signed marriage promises!
Thus, I am now the Scout Rowenova Bruvir!
We put on wedding rings right away, but -- if we ardently make it through this Lodge business -- there will still hopefully be the promise(d) ceremony as per his white journal (check it out!) as well as eventual children (not too soon)!
We first kissed around this same time during July 1009 AR (which has been a whole half year ago)! The strong bond we time tested is absolutely incredible, and thank you to all those who have been so good to us and Sir Floppington!

Last Night at the Golden Hart was very fun, indeed!
We (Master Draven, Sir Floppington, and I) had a nice brunch and lovely convo with the wonderful hostess (Princess Valencia) and all those who showed up!
I 'missed out' on the drinking game (after coming back from work Things), but a fortuitous opportunity came up!
Master Draven kindly offered me our first dance to live music (Harp Music by Master Ezekiel). It is a glorious memory that I will never ever forget!
