It is really unfortunate that the plushie met its demise by my hand. However for what I was aiming for and how the javelin soared to get there? That was a marvelous shot. Surprised me even.
Lady Medeia and Lady Titania did an amazing job in the competition as well, and no Lady Medeia, we're not offering lip service. I really do believe that competition is against ourselves and our best to this point.
When we are in spar with another we're seeking how to better our defenses and attacks. When we are aiming for targets at top of yard arms, we are against ourselves.

It's a strange world in which I have been on the outside of even the lowers. My siblings have worked with and employed those families before we took knee. It is a worthy ability to be able to see what those that would thumb their noses at us from being greater than us to now thumbing to us for the ennoblement which comes with taking knee.
It's a never winning direction between families and class of the city.

What was that scholar?
Yes. The dance under the stars was spectacular and I only miss that I hadn't time to have more dances, as I was called away at end of only the first dance. One which I will remember fondly, and seek to have many more. Else I end up in a dance debt and suddenly need to seek out Lady Mabelle's advice for how to get out of said debt.

The children were running around with colorful baskets and offering apples to all. It was fun to watch them take of both our values. I'm also pretty sure Amelia is playing a joke as the first 'cobbler' had fish and apples within a pie.

Even as I've trained with them as we've grown. We've been part of the same crew within the floatila. It's still a treat to watch the two that have been there to help me learn. It's a two way path, while Violeta and Tregva have been hired to help me in my duties. They are still friends to me.
In the torchlight tourney I was proud to be able to watch both of them take to their best in a spar. It wasn't until the last round that they succumbed to two sisters fighting against each other. And in that, we have a group of small impressionable minds that are curious about what an eel might have to do within the spar of the two.
Akamos is a fair match, and was a strong opponent to be paired with. It was good to be able to spar with another that knows the waters over land. I wouldn't turn down another spar from them. There's always room to learn and grow.

The story through song and dance was well received within House Leary's gardens during their painting and drinks event for Jayus. It's a piece that I've been working on since setting foot upon the decks to come to Arx, not finished yet. Though small pieces as they come together are worth sharing with others.
I had been playing along the creek upon one piece where I try to hold a note into silence and the twins had come over to ask what I was doing. In explaining to them - Raya was the one to insist that they were allowed to help with the piece. And thus, Sil, Raya and Ilan came together in a manner where I would only expect if they were true Rivenshari. Leaving me surprised, we wrote them pieces and practiced until our sharing of performance the other night.
I can see that they will leave me surprised many times into the future, if they will allow me to see glimpses of what their interests are.

The simplest of the meal. The sardines. Their saltiness helped build the rest of the meal into the savory and sweet. To find a mix of the delicate melting sweet of fudge upon tongue at end.

It's a good day to be able to watch my nephews take in what they have been learning and put it to good use. It also was good to know that Tregva and Violeta were on top of the small diversion that was required within the city market to whisk children to their proper locations.

There's nothing quite like watching the older siblings hand chores down to those that are younger. And while this was done to me several times over, it also made me better at who I am today.
It's also amusing to watch the children try to trick each other into swabbing the decks for them.

The rain and storm is gone, though there is much damage and we seek to help those that need it to repair and find temporary shelter in the process of rebuilding the city. There were a few moments within the storm which I will hold onto with a smile and happy heart.
To be able to watch family pull together and friends alike all while the seas upended into the clouds to be left to pour down upon us. Where winds shook trees and let bells find their song throughout the storm was a keen reminder of what life once was before we found life upon land.
The children also took to taking the storms to allow them to raid the kitchens in droves and make away with many cookies.

It was an amazing night, one which I would love to attempt again.
The shear number that fought bravely within the melee contest was almost overwhelming. There were several moments in which I was sure that I would be knocked out or pushed from the ring. The winds were upon my back and sought that bells were to stay. My glaive saved me more times than I can count.

Relationship Note on Medeia
Saikland Greens is always an interesting trip. One is never quite sure of what will be found there, though to find many dances that went long into the early hours of the following day was the best treat. That and meeting new faces. Though the dances are what's the point here.

We danced, sang, and played music while getting drunk on stories, fed our bodies and minds. Only two were too young to understand that which we were celebrating and mourning at the same time. As is our way within Rivenshari.

It is surprisingly harder than it looks to lead a group of children in a game of chase while there are others that believe they are to be playing hide-n-seek.
Though watching the many butterflies dance and spin upon the fields under dome was lovely.
