Inspiration comes from the strangest of places. I never considered myself a writer (and to be honest, still do not and should not), but there is something cathartic in writing even the most simple piece of fiction. My thanks to Lady Monique for being willing to publish my musings, and I hope the donation of the profits to the Faith in honor of Limerance brings some benefit to the city.

Has anyone seen from or heard from Count Donato? My cousin has been blissfully ignoring my missives, and I find myself becoming more and more frustrated with his antics. Sure, a few weeks of no contact on his trip to Caina was fine. But this? Months? The story he tells upon his return better be good, and accompanied by some delicious wine.

I really must spend more time in the Archives. I have honed my skill, and yet find myself suffering from too much knowledge to choose from. How will I ever learn anything if I continually forget to put in the work, forget to open a book, or forget to ask my questions? Come on, Tyche. You can do better than this!

Sometimes I wonder at my own state of mind. Did I willingly walk into a room knowing that a truth serum would be on the menu? Yes. Did I consume it, even after having seen the effects on another? Yes. Did some of the hidden chambers of my mind find a very audible voice? Yes.
Perhaps next time I have the opportunity to attend such, I will stay in and read a book instead? No. Probably not.

Josephine has agreed to help me round up crafters for the best of all Pravus parties. The design challenge should be one that the people of Arx talk about for years to come! I wonder what mundane little items I should include in the challenge? Would it be too much to ask a seamstress to create a dress based on a small knife? Too dangerous, maybe, but exciting!

Floofkins, the adorable little kitten gifted to me by Princess Caith, is a beacon for attention. If ever I feel invisible, I simply need to scoop him up and I've made ten new friends.

I had always thought the Grotto was a place meant for relaxation and tempered amusement. Who knew it could be the hub of so much action? A mad scientist, a near challenge, a dog jumping in the pools, and a giant with his very own special robe that (sadly) covers his massive pecs. I really must venture there again. Who knows what I will see next?

I have been busy trying to make myself useful in Arx. Along with volunteering for the mission, I met with Duchess Belladonna and Lady Celeste to increase my prestige with the Pravus, the house of my father. Time to party plan!

I wonder if I am foolish to volunteer for the Clan Stormstorm mission? Diplomacy is something I studied for years in Setarco, but I have never used it against the Abandoned. Either this will be a spectacular success, or my time in the city of Arx will be brief.

The Inverno presence in Arx is surprisingly quiet. When I journeyed from Caina to Setarco, and then from Setarco to Arx, I imagined a different world. I will have to start increasing our prestige in the city, if I intend to see anything done.

I am quite taken by the games involving stones. Shek was it called? Or Shec… or something of the sort. It seems I have a natural adeptness at the game, despite being unable to recall the name just now. Perhaps I can find others to play?

Oh. My. Goodness. Floofkins is SO CUTE. Princess Caith asked if I preferred kittens or puppies, and I said kittens, naturally, thinking of how sly and sleek they grow to be... but Floofkins is just a big ball of fluff, and I love him!
