I had the most fun the other night! Marquessa Iseulet and Lord Rufio had the best idea for a brawl! And it was great! Honest! Everyone did great I think and had just the same amount of fun as me. Maybe. I don't know if that can be possible.

I'm learning that the best of friends will remain with you through the most dangerous of situations. Even if you don't want them to you. So I'm guessing that's a good thing. I have the bestest and most stubborn friends.

I went to the Assembly scholar. And scholar, I was sitting near this woman who was making a web with her hands, but it was like...slimmy. It was the neatest thing! I wanted to see if she could teach me. I'm not sure if she could, but it was fun.

I was swimming in the river, just enjoying the day. As I was enjoying the water and not melting, a deer came up to the water's edge to drink. He looked calm and at peace with himself. With his surroundings. He didn't seem to have a care. And I thought there wondering, "When's the last time I ever I felt like that? Ever felt like that?" I should start becoming more one with nature, not just running to get away.

I took all my nieces and nephews today, scholar. ALL OF THEM. Ok. Not the babies. They're still babies. But I DID spend time with them when I got home. So that counts for something. I showed them all the plants they should and shouldn't eat. The berries. I even drew them pictures. I just hope they remember them. And I drew them well enough.

I've been laying low lately. Mostly you know, at least. But I find myself returning from the deep edges of where I've been to all the sadness. And every time I wonder...Could things have gone any differently for them? Not that I'm a very good diplomat or anything...

I think I'm going to teach the twins how to sail and fish. And hunt. Leave the wrestling to Triton. And the manners to Elora. Come to think of it, the sailing should be Aella. HA! These will be the best well rounded Ravenseyes ever!
