I have no attended the Assembly of Peers for many years as I was traveling out of the city more often than not.
However, the acknowledgement and realization that it has been done, that Artshall has been restored, has brought me a huge sense of relief.
I am happy.
I am relieved.
I can move on now.

What a strange week. I traveled to Artshall to see the state of the new crops we planted to explore the difference with the new state of the soil.
It did not yield much. It also keeps getting stolen.
Of all the things I thought I'd place heavy guards around, it was never a plantation.

It has dawned on me with the assistance of others that I have been absent from the social life of the city for two years.
I have spent so long on the roads between the city and home, trying to fix what was broken.
Perhaps soon I'll have cause to celebrate.

The resourcefulness and dedication of the people of Artshall has left me in awe. With the farms and houses restored and the trees planted, the next stage will be moving back the beehives to their natural home and then the foundation of Duke Cristoph's Agriculture College. Maybe next summer the Art Festival will be celebrated. Perhaps the summer after that. Perhaps.

I have been spending most of my days away from the city and in what is now reforming into Artshall. The strength of our people never ceases to amaze me. I know I said I will start with the essentials first: the houses, the farms, the castle, but it has been difficult to ignore all that I felt I lost personally.
I took a walk toward what used to be the art district. Remenants of shops and pieces of marble were scattered all over. So I picked a few stones and arranged them in a corner. A cornerstone of where the shrine of Jayus stood. I prayed. I hardly ever do that anymore but I prayed. I felt better already.
Perhaps if I take a few workers to start work on the district, no one will notice. I will pay them from pocket. Sell a few things. I know it will make me feel better. Perhaps.

My cousin returned from Artshall and pointed out the amounts of fused stone.
