I went to a joust today, they're interesting after a fashion but I really don't quite understand the degree of excitement they generate. Certainly it's something more with me than anything else but it certainly does seem odd.

When you do wrong, apologize and do what you can to reestablish the relationship. When you don't know what you've done you ought to still apologize because someone you hurt the person. Eventually you figure it out and then you can try to make things right more specifically. Better to be wrong and in a good relationship than to be right in a bad one.

An eyepatch most certainly does not detract from ones natural attraction. While I can't imagine anyone wanting to lose an eye, the patch can be a delightful accessory as much as any necklace or ring.

I sometimes get distracted on market days. I accidentally sold economic writs instead of buying them. Thankfully Lady Mabelle was kind enough to help me out on the deal so I didn't have to cancel it. It's always good to have a friend who can help you out in a pickle.

Sometimes people are hurt deeply and it takes time for any change to happen. The people are not broken, just struggling. We all struggle at times and should remember to be patient just as we hope people may be patient with us in our difficult days.

There are so many delightful possibilities that are available to those who wish to take them up. Opportunities open nearly every day and the main question becomes which ones can I squeeze the time for! It's sad that time is so limited for I should like to take part in them all!

I wonder if I helped build a fortress, if I could pick my own room. Two or three rooms would be better but they'd probably expect it to be a lot of help I offered. Well, other things first though!

I could not imagine ever wanting to have children but as I think on it further, it probably depends on who it is and what would be required. Children are stressful things after all!
