It's strange.
You'd think that whatever process turns those things that attacked us in Pridehall would make them more or less the same.
Yet when I examined the bodies, both the horde and the Bringers themselves were in various states or living or dead.

One of the more important questions has gone unanswered in this time of insanity.
Why have Dawn and her cohorts not been called to arrest for conspiracy to commit blood sacrifice? Last I checked, dark magic was illegal within our Compact, and here we have the former Regent a willing accomplice.
So much for rule of law.

In this world of secrets and manipulation, people like to forget that we still have our minds and our will.

Life is never dull, I'll give it that.
Too many problems coming up from having lost so many records to history, but nothing to be done for that. All anyone can do now is keep going, and hope we can reconstruct it all.

Despite the reputation and rumors surrounding it, I've always found Inquisition work to be fulfilling.
Can it get dirty? You bet. Can it get demanding? Definitely? Can it get dangerous? Only if you do it wrong. We safeguard the Compact from threats within and without, and I'm proud to have been a part of that for a decade.
Now, I'm back after a lengthy tour in the south, and I'm already hearing troubling rumors. Time to get to work.
