I have the opportunity to learn a fascinating new language, and it's delightful. The language itself changes depending on the social relationship between the speakers. It would be, for example, one form of speech from a lord to his subjects, another to speak to his equals, and yet a third to address his liege. I'm told it varies even further, modes and vocabulary that shift with the nuances of occupation, family, age...

I have no intention of dying anytime soon, but the Queen doesn't ask for my input. So my will follows:
To the Shrine of the Thirteenth, I request that the Faith allows the balance of my bank account be given to the Mirrormasks that they will not lack for resources in their duties to the Dark Reflection. I also ask to gift them my Mirrormask in hopes that others will remember the power of the Reflection. The tabard and long coat of Lord Tehom's Archlector should return to the shrine for the one that succeeds me.
Beyond these wishes, I don't care if someone wants a bit or bob. I entrust Father Vayne with the distribution of mementos. Ultimately, in accordance with my Vows, I leave my estate in the hands of the Faith to decide its best use.

High praise goes to Disciples of Jayus, Caprice Artiglio. She spent an ungodly amount of time producing the Uncommon Prayerbooks that we now have at the Shrine. For the first time in years, the Faithful can read the prayers for themselves.

With every inch of respect due for Messere Valencia and the inestimable work she does to help the downtrodden, the approval of the Faith is an integral part of a noble marriage contract.
The Faith of the Pantheon is vehemently, morally, spiritually against slavery in all its forms, and we even have an entire order dedication to the liberation of slaves. A marriage that eschews the edicts of the First Choice would not and will not be approved. The right to refusal is enshrined within the Faith and protected as such.
This does not, however, mean that Choice is without consequence. For better or worse, the pendulum swings both ways, and standing on principle is rarely inexpensive.
