Relationship Note on Kerr
There is something refreshing about seeing how the qualities of knighthood transfer past order and more into a way of life. Sir Kerr (that rhymes!) was honorable and willing to trade blows - and open about his journey to knighthood. We all take different paths, some of us seemingly born to wear the title, some forced into it by circumstances beyond our control. He wears it well.

This woman is fantastic - and taught me some of the most interesting facts about spiders. She also offered to let me take a spider home, but the thought of losing it while I slept, or worse... crushing it? No. Too much responsibility!

There are so many hidden treasures in Arx, places where you can find joy, but I long for the road. I long to travel again, to sleep with my back against a tree, to defend those in need, to eat stale bread and laugh with my fellow knights. Hopefully I am granted another mission soon, because this energy I have must go somewhere.

Jeffeth is truly a wonder. Not only could he best me any day on the field, he also has offered me a place to live. The bungalow behind his house needed some /serious/ remodeling, with all the pieces of broken statues and macabre imagery scattered about, but I think it will be a charming home. Added bonus: I can maybe glean a few extra tips and tricks from Jeffeth while in close proximity. One day I'll be able to take down the giant!

The best of all smiths. He created Kindness, my new blade, out of diamondplate. And now I can kill things with KINDNESS. Isn't that the best? I can stab with Kindness, and slice with Kindness, and poke with Kindness. The number of things I can do with Kindness are endless! Cannot wait to test her out.

What a fantastic welcome back to the city. Whenever I'm out on the road, I imagine what stories I'll have for Jeffeth when I get back. He certainly beat me on stories this time, though. The purpled bruise looks pretty awesome. I'll have to try harder on my next mission so I can wow him with a tale.

Ylva and I were reminiscing about the past today. She had forgotten how annoying I could be. Naturally, I just had to remind her. We've been together such a short time but it feels much longer! It keeps getting more and more dangerous, too. How long can this Solace protect her Mercy? Til the end of days if need be.
Ylva doesn't much like blood. She doesn't say so - what sense would that make for a Mercy - but I can tell anyway. Still, a lot of people died when we went on that expedition. On the plus side I did find a few rare flowers. Good for naught but sowing into one's hair but they're terribly pretty.

Relationship Note on Jeffeth
Jeffeth should teach me to sing. The most important part of singing is fellowship, however, and this we shared in spades. We should sing at the top of our lungs and chat. I think we'll have a fair amount in common!

Dear Journal,
While I was out with the other Solaces this week I met a large group of people who share my dearest interests! We exchanged a display of our skills and I really feel as though I learned a lot. I had so much funs!
Though the Mercies may have trouble getting the blood out of their robes. Attacking a caravan we're guarding wasn't the wisest choice those men and women ever made but it was the last.

We set out on the road soon. So much to see, and Mercies to protect. I live for trips like these. A chance to do something meaningful for others... And perhaps pick a few flowers that are rare near the walls of Arx. Don't worry for me should we be attacked, I am glad to be out and about!

Relationship Note on Ylva
So upbeat, yet she thinks so fatalistically. Ylva isn't just a person who has dedicated her life to healing. She's done so believing that since life ends in death the inevitability of it means that she is doomed to fail in her duties. Yet she never gives up or despairs. I love her dearly.

Such a lovely lady. She made my armor and even sent away for the payment for me. I'm glad she was willing to help me. I really don't know much about her bur she is very pretty.

"I've just received my new armor from Dame Alexis! It really is very shiny and bright. I had wanted to get a butterfly flying beneath the arch of a rainbow etched into it but I didn't have any armor so there was no time to waste. Instead I have the hearth maker's mark, and that is alright too! Alexis deserves to be recognised for her lovely work.
Today is such a lovely and sunny day. The light gleams wonderfully off of the steel and everything is still polished and new. The birds are avoiding me to day, probably because I am wearing a giant mirror. I am invincible to swords AND bird droppings now. Now all I need is for there to be a rainbow on a sunny day and all my hopes will have been answered..."
The rambling about how lovely the day is goes on for at least half a page. She discusses ponies, a litter of puppies, a visit to the orphanage, and how happy she is that the bee which stung her earlier was looking out for his family.
