Relationship Note on Thorley

I'd never stand in the way of someone who admires metalwork, especially a blade like yours. As long as he appreciates it, I daresay you should share it.

Relationship Note on Thorley

Sir Thorley Sandreef's sword is quite safe from my hands, though I look forward to seeing him use it himself.

My delight is purely that of which is proper for a weapon so finely made.

Relationship Note on Thorley

Sir Thorley does not give himself enough credit. He's a treasure of our house, such as much as the sword he wields for us.

Who needs sleep when every time I do I miss out on something interesting?

Also watch out what you offer.... I may drink Westrock dry of coffee within a month.

But shadows don’t freeze...it’s more that they are trapped in the light. Tethered.

That doesn’t go nearly as well with ‘melting’ though...

I’ve ruined it, haven’t I scholar?

Relationship Note on Thorley

Needless to say it was a shock to my system to see him here.

I knew things would be the same but....at least I got to have closure. At least I know the he still has my back and if needed, I'll have his. Some things are more important....and friendship is one of them.....a true reliable friendship.

Relationship Note on Thorley

Ida is quite lovely and she can kick the ass of any man. I mean, I'd marry her but I love her too much to do that to her.

Relationship Note on Thorley

A sailor disguised as a knight-

(or is it a Knight disguised as a sailor?)

-came by my shop today. He was wearing the best of Alarie Harall's creations, leather so new the man creaked when he walked. And tall. Must all Valardins be so damned tall?

Bold as brass, he absconded with my scones. Polite too; my mother warned me about sea faring folk and I always seem to forget until it's too late and I'm charmed into discounts and conversation and favors. I regret nothing. It was a wonderful way to pass the morning, and I don't have many conversations in my shop these days that -aren't- about metal and gemstone. It says much that I love the latter topic, it's just refreshing now and then to muse over other things.

If you see this tall, salt-and-pepper Knight, before sure to strike up a conversation with him. But I warn you; I felt like I could speak to him for hours.
