I think it is finally time to talk to Kedehern. I know Amari said I should wait until after we solve the curse, but it seems wrong to just let Kedehern think we are going to marry. When we are not.

Word has reached me from the College of Agriculture that Lord Kedehern was involved in a dispute over one of my cows. It *is* a very fine cow, one that I purchased from a little village in the Crownlands. I don't know that it's a nice enough cow to get all worked up over but I'm going to take this as a sign that the school is doing well and recruiting people to work there who are passionate about agriculture.

Having read the following poem which must have fallen from your pocket, I don't know that I can ever look at you the same way again.
For Shae from Kedehern
When you touch the hound you feel
his quivering interest
in your fine-boned hands.
The hitch in your stride
is the beat of my heart.
When you loose an arrow you hear
the smooth spruce shaft whisper
into your unclasped hair.
The beat of my heart is
yours to track,
and to train,
and in the end
to devour.

Relationship Note on Kedehern
My forced bed rest has seemed to affect Mal a bit, he has been rather grumpy and a huge brat as of late. Acting out, he recently took hair clasp of mine, that was given to me by a dear friend. Thankfully the person he decided to "give" it to, was a kind and honorable. Thank you again, Lord Kedehern, for the return of the hair clasp.
