Relationship Note on Aurora
How do I speak of one of the most complicated and (recently) sad people in Arx? She is fascinating, capable of the wittiest of verbal ripostes seemingly without noticing it. She is successful, running one of the best Clothier shops in Arx without breaking a sweat. But she has also had a recent run of horrible misfortune. I can only send her my best of wishes and let her handle her grief in her own way, hoping she returns to her old self.

A costume maker, and tailor. Ultimately, she seems to complicate things that need not be complicated. She seemed to be of a mind she required talking points when she is with me, I do not think that is entirely true. I will note she has been the inspiration for my new appreciation for the theatre; I look forward to attending a late showing with her at some point. And thus far, has proven to be kind with Meandre.

Mistress Aurora Thornburn is a talented tailor within the city.
She also seems fond of my cousin Horatio, for whatever reason, and I think the feeling may be mutual if their interactions at the tea tasting were any indication.

I'm quite grateful that I was finally able to cement my patronage to this phenomenal seamstress. I almost feared someone would beat me to the punch, but Aurora agreed after a long discussion in her shopfront while she worked on another piece for a customer. Truly, I am blessed to have not just one, but two wonderful proteges. I look forward to watching her thrive like I know she will in the coming days.
