Clarification

Posted by Belladonna on 03/09/18
When I went to bed last night, it was with a peaceful heart and firm knowledge that I had done what was right. Then I awoke to find that what I had done had been egregiously misinterpreted by my writing staff and had sparked a verbal battle in the journals that I never expected to see. And all over a pair of toddlers. I have spent the day chastising, punishing, and in one case firing and banishing from Pravus lands, those amongst my staff that were complicit in this error. A caution to any who might think of hiring Master Pietro D. Internus to write up your announcements in the future. Do not.

House Pravus has not adopted the children of Abbas Crownsworn. House Pravus has taken Amir and Aisha Crownsworn as Wards, to be afforded the protection, lifestyle, and upbringing that we can offer. They will reside in the Pravus Manor as guests, along with their mother and her retinue. We are not in the habit of taking children from their mothers, but we -do- offer them sanctuary in times of need.

My sincerest apologies for the arguments and misunderstandings that this egregious error in editing has caused and be assured that the one responsible for this error has been sacked. If there are any further questions or comments regarding House Pravus and its actions, we ask they be brought to us first for confirmation and clarification.

Duchess Belladonna Pravus

P.S. House Pravus now seeks a young man or woman to join the household staff as a ghost-writer of speeches, proclamations, and sundry announcements. Must be attentive, have excellent penmanship, and not be a fool.

--- Grayson Stance (from Cara) ---
Grayson commends House Pravus on its charitable sheltering of children in need.

--- Inquisition Stance (from Laric) ---
Master Pietro, if you haven't already fled the city, the Inquisition could use someone with your talents. Come by for tea?
