Now Lady Sorrel Wyrmguard steps up. she reaches out, encouraging her counties, and all her vassals to support their liege in time of war. Holy War at that - she speaks of their duty to Faith and to the Compact, mercilessly trading on the dual touchstones of Faith and Honor that the Valardin hold so dear. Lady Desiree helps too, convincing some of the most recalcitrant that sending troops and supplies is in their best interests. Duchess Clover strikes just the right notes when she reaches out to those who she best knew as Voice, and Dame Alexis makes little commemorative rings for the vassals - tokens of loyalty and Faith that inspire. Wyrmguard, Steelhart and Blanchard are called to war.
