The former commoner shav vassal Ysbail Blackwood has been ennobled, and made Lady Ysbail Blackwood, vassal of Crovane, as the large Abandoned groups that were decimated by Tolamar Brand's silent army have all bent the knee on Crovane southern borderlands called the Stormarch. The new house Blackwood helps bring several Abandoned groups into the fold as prodigals sworn to the Northlands and part of the Compact.
