The Lord General of the Crimson Blades, Lord Tobias Telmar, has a significant number of his mercenary company retained by House Darkwater. The sellswords construct new outposts on Darkwater land, and word arrives that they repulse a piratical attack during the construction, though at significant losses. There is no such thing as bad publicity for sellsword companies, really, and the Crimson Blades' and Tobias' fame grows as a result of their service.
